Middle East mobile TV case is unproven

Mobision, part of the same group of companies as Iraqi TV broadcaster Alsumaria, plans to launch a DVB-H service in Iraq by end-2008.

If the launch goes according to schedule, it will almost certainly be the first commercial broadcast-mobile-TV service in the Middle East, though a number of other services are in the pipeline.
